From clothing to movement, from object to gesture: how Darius Dolatyari-Dolatdoust’s textile and scenographic universe invents an inclusive language for bodies.

The multidisciplinary artist’s performances take over galleries, museums, and public spaces. They evoke imaginary worlds revealed through a fluid and fascinating creativity in which the audience always finds its place.

On the occasion of the presentation of his performances DRESSING and mata! at Bozar in October, the artist was a guest of Cloud Seven on 17 October for a conversation with Paul Briottet, Artistic Associate to the CEO of Bozar.

Preceded by a screening of his film Red Room (2024), which directly explores the themes developed in the two performances, the conversation looked back at the artist’s multidisciplinary practice and its collective, sometimes participatory, nature.
