IETM – International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts is a long-standing and extensive international cultural network that brings together more than 500 organisations and independent professionals active in the field of contemporary performing arts across the globe, serving as a collective voice for the sector.

The mission of IETM is to advocate for the value of arts and culture and to empower performing arts professionals through access to international connections, knowledge, and a dynamic forum for exchange. The network works to stimulate the quality, development, and context of contemporary performing arts in all their diversity.

IETM creates opportunities for its members and for the international performing arts community at large by organising networking activities, peer-to-peer learning, exchanges, and dialogues through various activities: events, training programmes, membership iniciatives, partnerships and more.

In addition, it commissions publications and research, facilitates communication and the distribution of information about the performing arts, and advocates for the position of performing arts professionals worldwide.
